A LITTLE BIT OF INFORMATION ABOUT ME

Firstly, may I thank you for visiting my website. I am based in Lancashire in the North West of England, I can travel throughout the UK for photo sessions or weddings if you so wish. I shoot all kinds of portraiture whether corporate, home based or having fun and laughter outside. I love lifestyle photography which enables me to capture everyone in their own surroundings having fun. I love photographing pets and my aim is to capture them in a dignified and respectful way that expresses their unique qualities which each one has, wherever it may be. My approach with people is very similar in that I want a person to accept their uniqueness and all that it entails. The comments I usually hear is "I hate my photo being taken", "I don't look good on photographs". After a shoot with Richard Wright Photography and when the proofs have been looked at the greatest problem you will have is deciding which images you do not want to keep.
The lifestyle approach to photography I follow is one in which above all else I want my subjects to be comfortable in their natural environment and interact as if I'm not there. With every shoot I do I find that a story inevitably unfolds and with a little time one eventually gets comfortable in the process and trusts me to make them look their best?
