Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

1. Do you charge for travelling to our wedding?

Travel is included within the cost of my wedding packages. Mileage & Accommodation costs are charged if the wedding is a significant distance away from my home operating area of Lancashire, and would not allow me to safely travel in the allocated time-scales to cover your wedding.

2.     What are your current prices, do you have a set price for your wedding services?

I have set prices for the most common wedding investments I provide, these are listed on my Wedding Information. I can provide a specific quote for your investment if you would like to send an email or call me to tell me your specific requirements. If I am not around please leave a message & I will call you back.

3. Do you require a deposit for your services?

Yes, I require a 25% non-refundable deposit and this exclusively reserves the date you would like to get married, and ensures no-one else can book that date.

4. When do you require final payment for your services?

The balance for the wedding investment will be required no later than two weeks before the actual wedding date. I usually look to have one last meeting before the wedding again usually two before the actual date to confirm all the plans and that nothing has changed & to collect the list of names of family guests you would like to have on the group photographs.

5. What types of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, cheque or credit/debit cards, I will invoice you for payment before the date and you will receive a printed receipt for each and all payments.

6. Do you have a Contract that we have to sign?

Yes I have a wedding contract which you need to sign and states all the requirements for your date it is as much a requirement for yourselves as it is for me, this is essential to help layout all the details that helps to understand what you are going to get for your investment. This is the legal document which will be required along with a booking form.

7. When do we actually get to meet you?

This is a good question, After you have phoned, emailed or text messaged me,  I usually meet with you for an initial consultation at a mutually conveniently arranged time/date and a place to suit whether it’s a local café, hotel or at your home, this helps us both get to know each other, and what your requirement’s are along with showing you some examples of my albums and images. You will also get the information you need to help the day run smoothly. Most of the time a lot of people do not realise the times they need to allocate for photographs. This also helps you to co-ordinate with the venue for your wedding breakfast times. This ensures the planning is done to allow me to capture the images you will be reminded of for years to come.

8. Do you photograph alone or with a second photographer?

This depends on your requirements, usually 99% of the time I photograph alone, this allows me to be  less obtrusive on your day, and also allows me to capture images in my own unique style and less of a mixture of differing styles, sometimes I do have a second photographer to capture candid images of the guests.

9. Do you go and look at the venue beforehand?

I have taken images in a lot of locations in and around Lancashire and beyond. I will only explore a venue if I have never been to that place before, it is not essential as on the day the weather may change any plans I may have drawn up beforehand. It is usually part of my repertoire to use this to make every wedding as individual as they.

10. Are your prices likely to go up if we wait?

Once you have paid the deposit and we have agreed an investment price. You will not receive any further price increases. Unless you wait and take the risk of a price rise before you actually book me.

11. If we have any further questions after the initial meeting, investment can we contact you?

If you have any question no matter how trivial it may seem, then please feel free to email, phone me, and I will endeavor to answer it as promptly as I can.
